Bolt was established in 2016 by Steve Bolton and his business and investment partners. 

Bolt Capital (formerly Bolt Angels) is a private HNW investment partnership backing exceptional businesses in the field of artificial intelligence. Between 2022 and 2025, Bolt led investment rounds in two category-defining AI companies. JAAQ, is a clinically governed AI mental health platform supporting two million individuals through partners including Bupa, NatWest and Nationwide.  CUDO, is one of only four certified NVIDIA Cloud Partners in the UK, providing high-performance GPU infrastructure to meet the surging demand for AI compute. Beyond capital, Bolt continues to takes an active role in both businesses, holding board positions and working alongside management to drive growth.

Bolt Practice teaches the Bolt Method™, a practical way of deciding where AI genuinely belongs in real work, and working well once it does.  Programmes offered include Discovery sessions, one to one Coaching, 90-day Accelerator programmes, and a Coach License for individuals, and Business Workshop and Train The Trainer for organisations.   It holds firmly to one idea throughout: Better Thinking.
